TreesDay Fall 2026, Keep Nassau Beautiful’s Free Tree Event
Residents of Nassau County, FL are invited to receive two of our 3-gallon trees, while supplies last, during the Adopt A Tree event, Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, 9am to 11am, at one of 3 locations.
Participant Registration and Tree Reservation is Required. Here’s how to reserve your trees.

- View the 2026 Fall Species Fact Sheets and Promo Code rev 9-10-2026 being offered (while supplies last). Select the right tree or woody species for your planting location. Be sure to write down the “PROMO CODE” found within the Fact Sheets. You will need this code to register for free trees. The species vary with each event and supply of each species is limited. Download your free copy of the Planting and Establishing Trees Handout for future reference.
- Access the TreesDay Reservation/Registration Form to provide your contact information, preferred pickup location and your choice of up to 2 trees from our inventory. A few days after submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email. Be sure to mark your calendar to pick up your free trees at your selected time and location. Substitute pickups are discouraged. TreesDay events take place rain or shine. All trees will be reserved in advance (we ALWAYS) run out of trees – no walk-ins are expected.
Fall 2026 Species
After reviewing the tree and shrub species fact sheets, you can select up to 2 free trees from our 11 species which are suited for planting anywhere in Nassau County. Look for the asterisk symbol for the best species for planting on Amelia Island. Please note that quantities of each species are limited and no additional orders or waiting lists will be available. All trees will be reserved in advance (we ALWAYS) run out of trees – no walk-ins are expected.

Many thanks to our program partners including Amelia’s Native Wildflowers, Nassau County BOCC, Rayonier, RYAM, UF/IFAS Extension Nassau County, generous donors, and community volunteers who make these events possible. Since the introduction of Planting Nassau’s Future in 2020, more than 5,400 free trees have been distributed to Nassau County, FL residents.
