Volunteer Opportunity – Free Tree Drive-through Events
In celebration of Florida Arbor Day, Keep Nassau Beautiful is hosting three Free Tree Drive-through events. Drive-through events will be held in Fernandina Beach, Saturday, Jan. 16, Callahan, Saturday, Jan. 23, and Yulee, Saturday, Jan. 30. All events will be held from 9am until Noon.
Volunteers are needed to help direct traffic flow at entrance and exit, and also once inside the gate. Volunteers are needed to assist in staging the free trees for resident pickup. Volunteers may also help put free trees in resident vehicles. Trees are in 3-gallon containers and weigh less than 10 pounds.
