Volunteer – Free Tree Event – Fernandina Beach
REGISTER OCT. 1 – FERNANDINA BEACH
Thank you for volunteering to assist residents during the Keep Nassau Beautiful (KNB) free-tree drive-through event. We look forward to working with you during one or more of our events as your time allows.
We will begin set-up at 8am and ask that you plan to arrive no later than 8:30am. Parking will be available at the Peck Center in lots around the building. We will be using the main parking area for the drive-through event.
KNB will provide bright yellow safety vests and your choice of disposable or reusable gloves. Bring your own gloves and mask if you prefer to wear a mask, reusable water bottle if desired, and wear shoes appropriate for standing and walking. This event qualifies for community service hours and forms will be available.
Between 8am – 8:45am we will be setting up several tables and tents, distributing volunteer supplies, and unloading trees from the Liberty Landscape Supply truck for staging during event pickup. During the event, volunteers are needed at the following stations: traffic control, residency validation, reservation verification, and tree stockyard.
This is a rain or shine event. We could not do it without you and appreciate your help! Questions: 904-261-0165 or KNB@keepnassaubeautiful.org.
