Pumpkin Palooza

A full afternoon and evening of activities – Pumpkin Palooza, 3 – 9:00pm

Partners include: Ghost and History Tours of Fernandina, Jennifer Cook – Professional Artist, Keep Nassau Beautiful, Mocama Beer Company, STAND, UF|IFAS Extension Nassau County

Bring your pumpkin, 3 – 6pm, for professional carving of a critter image of your choice with a small donation to support sea turtle education.

Proceeds and donations from the event support sea turtle education – The Last Castle where professional sand carvers will build an elaborate sand castle to announce the 2027 Sea Turtle Nesting Season.  Reminding visitors and residents to keep the beach clean, flat, and dark.

Event Schedule:

• 3pm – Festivities begin with face painting, pumpkin carving, composting demonstrations, Mocama food, beverage and trunk or treat
• 5-6pm – Ghost stories with Diane Blanton, Ghost and History Tours of Fernandina
• 6pm Youth Costume Contest
• 6:30 – 9:30pm – Live Music
• 7pm Adult Costume Contest
