Aluminum and Steel food and beverage cans and containers are accepted at Nassau County Recycling Centers and by most recycling haulers. Contact your hauler to confirm.
Items for recycling should be empty, clean, and dry. Food or liquid waste in the container may contaminate the recycling bin. These items will be compacted during the sorting process, and any contents left inside the container will contaminate other items during the sorting and baling process.
Cats Angels on Amelia Island has a drop-off bin for aluminum cans only. Contact them to confirm location and hours.
