Creative Edge Carpet Binding is a custom rug and repair service specializing in turning carpet remnants into functional, beautiful rugs. They accept new/unused carpet remnants/scraps which are extra pieces left over from new carpet installation or unused rolls. Must be new and never installed (installed carpet cannot be repurposed for interior rugs). They also accept gently used area rugs and rug pads if they are not heavily soiled, stained, or damaged. Construction Waste Construction/demolition debris is accepted at the Sandhill Recycle Center for a fee. Call for hours, fees and specifics for drop off. (904) 225-2801
Wood pallets cannot be disposed of with bulk trash and are not accepted at most residential waste collection sites. When pallets are delivered with construction materials or other large items, it’s best to make disposal arrangements in advance. If your delivery is from a trucking company, ask if they can take the pallet back once unloaded. For deliveries from local hardware stores or home improvement chains, inquire whether the pallet can be returned to the store for reuse or proper disposal.
Another great option is to offer pallets for free on local social media platforms like Facebook Marketplace or community groups. Many people repurpose wood pallets for DIY projects, furniture building, compost bins, and garden use.
