2023 Wild Amelia Nature Festival

May 19–21, 2023 on Amelia Island

Join us as we celebrate the natural wonders of the bioregion of Nassau County, Florida! This three-day weekend festival will introduce visitors to the magic of our amazing natural treasures. Learn about the diverse ecosystems in our area and the wonderful creatures that inhabit them.

Friday, May 19

The first day of the festival offers eco-tours, a sea turtle release, and a sunset river cruise.

Friday Ecotours — Sunrise beach yoga, kayaking, native plant walk, birding walk, sailing, river cruises, electric bike tours. See tour descriptions and registration.

The Sea Turtle Release at Main Beach is an awe-inspiring event made possible by the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. This event is dependent on the availability of a healthy sea turtle and the weather and tides.

Our popular Sunset River Cruise is a fundraiser to support our free year-round nature education programs. Register online with Amelia River Cruises.
