Every year thousands of residents and visitors enjoy traveling Nassau County roadways, beaches and waterways, and utilizing our many other public places. First impressions can be lasting. Litter-strewn areas are far less attractive and welcoming than clean, healthy, and naturally beautiful spaces.
Litter is costly to clean up, impacts our quality of life and economic development, and eventually ends up in our waterways and oceans. Keep Nassau Beautiful champions the support of individuals, businesses, civic groups, youth groups, and organizations in controlling litter in Nassau County. One of these initiatives may be the one that stirs a passion in you to take action.
