Purpose:
KNB is charitable and educational for the purpose of educating citizens in ways of improving the community’s appearance. To achieve this purpose, we:
Programs:
Adopt-A-Highway: A volunteer partnership program with the Florida Department of Transportation to remove litter from our state highways. Adopt-A-Shore: In coordination with Keep Florida Beautiful, you can join thousands of volunteers by adopting a section of shoreline, beach, river or stream. Adopt-A-Mile: Similar to Adopt-A-Highway, this is a KNB program by which volunteers adopt a mile of county roadway. Adopt-A-Spot: For those volunteers who are searching for an alternative to highway cleanups, we offer Adopt-A-Spot. This is focused at beautification of our common use areas, such as parks and ball fields. Annual Events:
